Happy Hour with the Historian – Florida Women and Social Change

Join us for the stories of several relatively unknown yet important women who laid the foundation for improving women’s equality in Florida and across the U.S. during post-World War II. It is the story of women’s page journalists, women’s club members and local political leaders. While these women largely worked behind the scenes, they made a significant impact.

Dr. Kimberly Voss is a full professor of journalism at the University of Central Florida. She has published seven books, including Newspaper Fashion Journalism, and Women Politicking Politely.
