On July 13, 2004, Carl Crawford (pictured) delivered one of the greatest individual performances in Tampa Bay Devil Rays history. Facing the Toronto Blue Jays at Tropicana Field, Crawford became the first player in franchise history to hit for the cycle, recording a single, double, triple, and home run in the same game.

His biggest moment came in the bottom of the 10th inning. With the score tied, Crawford launched a walk-off home run to give the Devil Rays an exciting 11 to 10 victory. He finished the night with five hits, five RBIs, and one unforgettable performance.

Known for his speed, defense, and ability to change a game in an instant, Crawford became one of the most popular players in franchise history. His historic cycle remains one of the standout moments from the club’s early years and helped establish him as one of the greatest players ever to wear a Rays uniform.

More than two decades later, Crawford’s remarkable night remains a memorable chapter in Tampa Bay baseball history and a milestone that Rays fans still celebrate today.
